Pushing Print, Margate October 2012

I've been lucky enough, as half of KnitterKnitKnitKnit, to have been selected artists to take part in the Giant Print Event with Pushing Print in Margate Old Town.  We spent yesterday afternoon experimenting with embossing techniques, using a steam roller as a press, and plan to continue the work today...photos are by the wonderful print maker Nick Morley...

Tent, London September 2012, part one

  I visited Tent recently, it's part of the London Design Festival and very inspirational, and as this is a blog, I don't feel that it should just be about Jenny Duff products, so I wanted to share some of the things I saw there...here's the first - these marvellous models are handmade by the very clever Chisel and Mouse team at their studio in Sussex and the detail is fabulous - why not have Buckingham Palace on your bookshelf? Free Tickets for Spirit of Christmas Fair

  I have exhibited at the Spirit of Christmas Fair at Olympia for a number of years and everytime it amazes me - it is a beautiful show with a miriad of fantastic things on offer - it's always a struggle to stay on my stand and not to go off wandering and spending! National Railway Museum: Waterloo Station mats

 Here is a larger scale image of part 2 of the new Waterloo Station Jigsaw set of table and serving mats, the detail is just fantastic - the artist Helen McKie was commissioned to produce the poster for Southern Railways in 1948 to commemorate the centenary of Waterloo Station...here's hoping that they'll be arriving on a table near you soon...
