Tent, London 2012, part 2

  Being one half of KnitterKnitKnitKnit I am always drawn to a nice bit of knitting - and this is just lovely, so you can imagine my delight when I met Claire Anne O'Brien at Tent.  Originally from County Cork, Claire-Anne graduated from Central Saint Martins and is now based in East London.  The shapes and cabling are beautifully executed, making her work a joy to have in any home.

Country Fair Animals by John Hanna

      The Country Fair Animal mats are already causing a bit of a stir - orders are coming in and they have been blogged about "They make for a lovely collection." Pushing Print, Margate October 2012

I've been lucky enough, as half of KnitterKnitKnitKnit, to have been selected artists to take part in the Giant Print Event with Pushing Print in Margate Old Town.  We spent yesterday afternoon experimenting with embossing techniques, using a steam roller as a press, and plan to continue the work today...photos are by the wonderful print maker Nick Morley...
